The biggest update yet: the Duskmere region — the place the whole game is named after — is now open, alongside a camera rework that changes how the world looks and feels.
The Duskmere region
A new map with its own townsfolk, its own troubles, and a fresh set of quests. Duskmere's quests use our scenario system: things happen in the world around you — creatures spawn, events unfold, and the story reacts to what you do rather than walking you through a checklist.
A camera you control
The world camera has been rebuilt from a fixed overhead view into a full perspective orbit camera:
- Hold middle mouse and drag to orbit around your character
- Scroll to zoom from close-up to a wide tactical view
- The classic look is still there — you just choose your own angle now
It's the single biggest change to how the game feels since launch, and it makes the new region's vistas worth climbing a hill for.
Quality of life
- A friends list with last-online times — see who's in the world before you log in
- Overhead chat, so conversations happen where you're standing
- Countless polish passes on combat, monsters and the world itself
