Welcome, adventurer! Duskmere is a free-to-play MMORPG that runs entirely in your browser — no download, no plugins. One persistent world, always online, shared with every other player.
Creating your account
Click Create a Free Account at the top of this page, pick a username (3–12 letters, numbers, spaces or underscores) and a password, and you're in. Your account works everywhere: on this website and in the game itself. Your character, inventory, skills and quest progress are saved automatically as you play.
Your first steps
When you first arrive you'll find yourself on the mainland. A few tips for your first session:
- Click to move. Left-click a tile and your character walks there. Right-click anything — people, creatures, objects — for a Choose Option menu, just like the classics.
- Talk to everyone. Villagers hand out quests, hints and the occasional reward.
- Try your hand at skilling. Chop trees, light fires, catch fish — every skill levels up as you use it.
- Mind the wildlife. Crabs and frogs by the shore are gentle training. What lives in the darker corners of the world is... less gentle.
